The acquisition of Oxford-shire-based broker FM Green, which was due to be completed on 30 June, has been delayed pending a seal of approval by the Financial Services Authority.
Due diligence is understood to be all but complete and, while confidentiality agreements at this commercially sensitive stage in proceedings prevent publication of the buyer's identity, market speculation suggests three possible candidates.
