This is an important year for all insurance intermediaries conducting retail business. We expect the industry to have embraced Treating Customers Fairly fully by the end of the year and have set two deadlines:

- By the end of March you should have appropriate management information or measures in place to test whether or not your customers are treated fairly;

- By the end of December you should be able to demonstrate that you are treating customers fairly consistently.
