United Insurance Brokers has appointed former Marsh chairman David Trezies as executive chairman of UIB Holdings (UK) with immediate effect. He succeeds Dr Mounir Kabban, chairman since 1998, who will become president of UIB Holdings. Trezies has also been appointed chairman of UIB, the Lloyd's broking arm of the UIB group of companies. Chris Bishop, current chairman of UIB, will continue to serve as non-executive director.
