I believe the recent church insurance article (commercial linessupplement, Oct, p17) does not give a true representation as to what is
happening in the church insurance market.
The article failed to advise readers that approximately 90% of the market
is now controlled either directly or indirectly by the Ecclesiastical
Insurance Group. For example, Ansvar Insurance Company is a wholly-owned
subsidiary of the Ecclesiastical Insurance Group. The Methodist and
Baptist Insurance Companies
