Bristol-based the Jelf Group has acquired Plymouth-based independent commercial insurance brokerage Haines Wallace. The deal is expected to add £4.5m to the group's premium income. Haines Wallace staff of 14 will become part of the group's growing commercial insurance team. Together with the group's operations in Newton Abbot and Taunton, this acquisition will bring the full range of services provided by the Jelf Group to clients in the region.
