A tight situation.

In the light of 11 September, the threat of terrorism looms and brokers should encourage commercial property owners to tighten their grip on security, says Mervyn Harris.

Commercial property owners face threats to their portfolio but since
11 September, terrorism has risen rapidly up the list of potential
threats.


While landlords in 'high risk' areas have been quick to respond, other
property owners could benefit from their broker's advice.


The nature of the exposures depends on the building's location, the
tenants in occupations and the total number of properties in the
landlord's portfolio.
