The Association of British Insurers has welcomed comments by Constitutional Affairs Secretary Lord Falconer, who signalled the growing discontent within government over the compensation culture phenomenon and cited a number of initiatives set to combat the growing problem.
Speaking at a recent conference in London, Lord Falconer said: "People should not be encouraged to always 'have a go', however meritless the claim.
