The Budget Group of Companies announced record pre-tax profits of £22.2m, for the year ended June 2006, an increase of 85%. Gross written premium climbed to £376m, policies under management were up 34% to 1.4m. Peter Winslow, chief executive, Budget Group of Companies, said: "The Group has generated 50% organic compound growth for the past five years and this year has exceeded expectation."
