It is interesting that Mike Slack, chairman of the Association ofInsurance Intermediaries and Brokers has not heeded my words of warning
and instead dispelled my concerns of shortfalls in client accounts as pure
fantasy, (PB, p4, Nov).
Had our figures been based on a gut feeling, rather like Mr Slacks
guesstimate of 80% having balanced books, then I may even have agreed with
him. However, while I agree that our figures are projections, they are
nevertheless based on fact. Should Mr Slack still doubt
