Tim Ablett is looking to return to insurance next year in a chief executive role for an insurer or a broker. Ablett will step down as group chief executive of First Assist, after splitting the company into three distinct divisions. The divisions are First Assist Insurance Services under Martin Totty, First Assist Legal Expenses, headed up by Peter Smith, and First Assist Services with Peter Haywood at the helm. Ablett will become non-executive director of the three divisions on 1 January. First
