Having returned from the summer break on 13 August, the trial for conspiracy to defraud against Michael Bright, Dennis Lomas and Philip Condon - the former managing director and company chairman, finance director and deputy managing director of Independent Insurance respectively - continued with the case for the prosecution and the testimony of Watson Wyatt actuary Mark Trayhorn.
Trayhorn acted as the consulting actuary for Independent. He confirmed that, originally, Bright declared all claims
