The Fleet Driver Training Association has warned that drivers taking their cars on holiday can severly damage the vehicles' residual value.Car accidents are more common at this time of year, said the FDTA, with people driving heavily-laden cars in unfamiliar countries. Interiors and paintwork are also more at risk, exposed to sun, sand and fractious children.
FDTA chairman James Sutherland said: "It's slowly dawning on fleet managers that they can no longer adopt an 'out of sight, out of mind
