Cullum Capital Ventures is in the process of buying three Country Mutual Insurance Brokers' branches from Towergate.
CMIB's offices in Bolton and Cheltenham have been bought by CCV, with 10 and 12 employees respectively. The third CMIB office is set to be announced shortly.
Tim Johnson, chief executive at CCV, said the rationale for the deal was because the firms concerned were a better fit with CCV than Towergate. Other such deals have not been ruled out.
