Andy Homer becomes non-executive chair of Hood Group

The former Towergate investor and CEO takes over from Eric Cater who becomes a non-executive director.

Former Towergate investor and CEO Homer has been appointed non-executive chairman at Hood Group.

Homer, who is also chairman of the retail broking division of Global Risk Partners, replaces Eric Cater who becomes a non-executive director.

Hood Group chief executive, Simon Hood, added: “I have known Andy for a number of years and during that time he has always been interested in Hood Group. This interest has grown over the past year as we have embarked on our journey to transform insurance
