Lucida confirms ex-Allianz PL boss George exit
Former Allianz personal lines broker boss Nicola George has left her post as group chief underwriting officer of Lucida Group after less than a year, the business has confirmed.
George joining Lucida was announced this February with CEO Matthew Gledhill labelling the move as the “last piece of the jigsaw” for the business.
She had come in to succeed founder Mike Joseph as he retired from the firm. Joseph had previously handed over the CEO title in 2025 to Gledhill to focus on being CUO.
A filing at Companies House for Lucida Broking Holdings listed that George, pictured, was appointed on 7 April 2026 and resigned on 3 October.
