Broker Expo 2026: Don’t shy away from cyber
Experts at the Broker Expo urged delegates to keep plugging away on cyber amid the ongoing low level of uptake by SMEs.
At the start of the year, the British Insurance Brokers’ Association flagged research from the Department for Science Innovation and Technology which showed 35% of SMEs had no cyber insurance at all. In 2025, Broker Insights highlighted less than 2.8% of UK businesses has specialist standalone cyber insurance.
