Beazley addresses rise in AI-related cyber threats with new endorsement

Beazley has launched an AI ‘clarifying endorsement’ for its cyber product, which it claims will offer clients peace of mind as to how AI-related cyber attacks are addressed within their existing cover.

The insurer said as AI becomes increasingly embedded within the systems, processes and technologies already covered by cyber policies, this affirmative AI wording provides greater certainty for clients by expressly addressing AI-related events within existing coverage frameworks.
