PIB starts CEO hunt as McManus moves to chairman role
PIB Group CEO Brendan McManus is stepping down after 11 years in the role to be chairman of the board, as a cohort of the broker’s bosses lead the firm on a day-to-day basis.
Announcing the news, the business confirmed the hunt for McManus’ successor has already started.
During the CEO search, an office of the CEO, chaired by chief people officer Jo Payne and including Rob Houghton (COO), Alastair Hay (CFO), Carl McMillan (general counsel) and Ryan Brown – in a newly created chief growth officer role – will be in charge.
As reported by Insurance Age, PIB has grown over the years to reach pro-forma net revenue of £570.4m in 2025 with a footprint spanning 14 countries.
