Prestige first up as Source broadens landlord offering
Managing general agent Prestige Underwriting has joined the Source Insurance landlord panel as the first underwriter of its 5-Star Defaqto-rated residential landlord insurance product.
According to the MGA, it is the first common-worded product on the Source landlord panel, which it argued represents “an important step” in broadening choice for advisers.
The policy includes legal expenses cover as standard, with rent guarantee available as an optional add-on.
The move extends the partnership between the pair and comes against the backdrop of the evolving lettings market with the Renters’ Rights Act having come into force this May.
