Insurtech in five-strong FCA innovation and scale-up cohort
Insurtech Urban Jungle has joined the Financial Conduct Authority’s scale-up unit, with the watchdog promising tailored support to help it innovate, navigate regulation and grow sustainably.
The FCA launched the unit with six firms, jointly regulated with the Prudential Regulation Authority, in February.
The latest wave including ClearScore, Modulr, Teya, and Zilch – spanning payments, consumer finance, credit information and insurtech – is the first to have businesses regulated solely by the FCA.
