Rating factors ‘fundamentally discriminatory’, according to Stella’s Sam White

Experts at the Association of British Insurers’ annual conference have urged that everyone working together is what will improve the poverty gap.

Speaking at a morning plenary session, “Expectation/protection gap – Securing the future of the general insurance market amidst widening expectation and protection gaps”, the senior managers tackled how the industry must improve fairness around insurance premiums and vulnerable customers. 

Sam White, CEO at Stella Insurance, stated the insurance industry keeps coming up with the same solution to try and solve rising premiums.
