Motor market more uncertain than ever, says Allianz's Ross
Gerry Ross, Allianz’s head of commercial motor, tells Insurance Age all about the state of the market this year, what technology developments brokers should be looking out for, and how 2022 is shaping up.
“There’s more uncertainty around in motor than there ever has been,” according to Gerry Ross, head of commercial motor at Allianz.
Looking back on the past 12 months, Ross pointed out that one of the few notable things to call out is the “long-awaited” introduction of the whiplash reforms, whose legislative impact would be seen in the coming year.
Furthermore, he said that the motor sector was undoubtedly affected by the ongoing pandemic.
