County Group buys Inspire Risk Management
County Group has bought the Warrington-based broker which specialises in commercial corporate and private clients for an undisclosed sum.
The County Group has bought Inspire Risk Management, a broker with £7m of annual gross written premium (GWP), for an undisclosed sum.
Inspire was founded in 2008 and is based in Warrington and, according to a statement from County Group, the deal takes its own GWP up to £90m.
When the deal goes through Inspire co-founder and CEO Neil Reid will remain with the business as a consultant.
Managing director Chris Bootham will keep his role and all existing staff and premises will remain the same.
