Towergate reveals London specialty unit, Geo Specialty
The first product covers political violence and its development is the first step in building a "strong" London underwriting business.
Towergate Underwriting has launched a market specialty business and selected political violence as its entry market.
The underwriting arm of the UK broker Towergate said it had created Geo Specialty – a new London business, backed by Lloyd’s capacity.
Towergate Underwriting CEO Paul Dilley noted that the business had been talking to the market about its intentions for some time and was delighted it was now in a position to launch the first element of Geo Speciality.
