MGAA reveals strategic direction

Due diligence, Brexit, training, professionalism, and lobbying are key focuses for the Association’s future.

The Managing General Agents’ Association (MGAA) has revealed its priorities at its third annual conference which took place yesterday.

The organisation stated that it is embarking on a number of key projects as it seeks to grow and develop member services.

These projects include:

Developing a single due diligence pack for insurers Providing members with specific Brexit-related advice and, should the need arise, a possible solution Training and education supporting best practice and

Broker Expo 2026: AI will kill off lazy brokers

Charlie Hicks, managing director of EIC Insurance Services Limited, has highlighted old-fashioned broking still has a “massive place” in today’s insurance market and can make a firm stand out compared to competitors. And added AI might benefit those brokers who do this.
