Insurer expands offering into new class of business.

International General Insurance (IGI) has entered the legal expenses market with a new product.

The specialist commercial insurer and reinsurer detailed that the product offers coverage for both before-the-event (BTE) and after-the-event (ATE) legal expenses insurance and is primarily aimed at commercial risks.

Available to brokers in the London Market and the UK regions, the insurer said the product will cover the legal exposures businesses face in their day-to-day business activities.
