Clark Thomson drops Open GI for Acturis

The broker has changed software house after 20 years with Open GI.

Clark Thomson confirmed that it stopped using Open GI in favour of Acturis following an evaluation of the two offerings, Insurance Age can exclusively reveal.

Operations director Sean O'Reilly, explained: "We review our software house periodically and at the last review we re-evaluated Acturis.

"When we looked we saw a lot of improvement, particularly in respect to its personal lines offering."

He continued: "It was the stronger of the two platforms so we made the decision to move."

FCA warns on Tempcover clone
