Principal Insurance report pre-tax profits of £327,109

Broker delivers second consecutive year of profit having been founded in 2011.

Manchester-headquartered Principle Insurance has reported pre-tax profits of £327,109 for 2015-16.

That is up on the £21,622 achieved in the previous financial period when the broker posted its first ever profit.

Turnover increased by 140% to hit £3.8m (2014-15: £1.6m), while the company saw its gross written premium double to £10m.

The broker's executive chairman, Damian Keeling, said the results were "tremendous" and highlighted the robustness of it business model.
