BP Marsh & Partners increases stake in Nexus Underwriting Management

The investor acquired a further 6.9% stake in Nexus for £4m.

Private equity investor BP Marsh & Partners snapped up a further 6.9% stake in specialty MGA Nexus Underwriting Management for £4m.

It acquired a further 219,178 shares in Nexus from founding shareholders Colin Thompson and Ian Whistondale. This acquisition takes BP Marsh's shareholding in Nexus to 18.8%.

BP Marsh initially acquired 5% of Nexus in August 2014 and has since then bought additional interests by means of successive follow-on investments in June 2015 and December 2015.
