Torlea buys Lloyd’s broker Kinetic

USA and Canada investors buy broker founded in 1976.

Torlea Group has bought Lloyd's firm Kinetic Insurance Brokers from Hamilton UK Holdings for an undisclosed amount.

Torlea confirmed that it has received all relevant regulatory approval from the Financial Conduct Authority and Lloyd's with Kinetic becoming a wholly-owned subsidiary with immediate effect.

Kinetic was founded in 1976 and places UK and international insurance and reinsurance business in the London and international insurance markets.
