Gallagher v Aston Scott court case set to start

High Court case to be heard by Mr Justice Soole.

A document released by the Queen's Bench Division of the High Court in London has revealed that Arthur J Gallagher Insurance Brokers Ltd & ors v Aston Scott Group Ltd & ors will be heard tomorrow (20 September) morning.

Aston Scott detailed that last week Gallagher issued a request for a High Court injunction.

The broker added that the injunction relates to the recent recruitment by Aston Scott of an account executive who had formerly been employed by Gallagher.

Brokers upbeat on 2024 growth – Aviva

Brokers are more optimistic about growth in the coming year than they have been since before 2020, according to Aviva, with 83% expecting their business to grow compared to 76% last year.
