UKGlobal Risk Solutions targets expansion after ownership deal

Family of former Oval chief Phillip Hodson involved in deal.

UKGlobal Risk Solutions is set to expand from its two offices after completing a change of ownership deal with Nic Hamblin and the Hodson family to form UKGlobal Holdings.

The broker will become a subsidiary of the new venture, UKGlobal Holdings. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Philip Truman, who developed UKGlobal Risk Solutions over the past five years, will retain the CEO role as well as becoming chief operating officer of UKGlobal Holdings.
