Biba calls for brokers to consider EU membership benefits

Call from chairman Lord Hunt of Wirral comes as Brexit vote approaches on 23 June.

The chairman of the British Insurance Brokers' Association, Lord Hunt of Wirral, has called on members to consider the benefits to the insurance broking sector of remaining in the EU.

He urged brokers to make their vote count in the referendum which takes place on 23 June.

Lord Hunt stated: "The opposing sides of the debate have filled our press and media with a plethora of claims and counter claims, some of which are clearly unsupported by the available evidence.
