Former Zurich CEO Martin Senn dies

Zurich released a statement stating that Senn had committed suicide.

Former Zurich CEO Martin Senn has died aged 59 according to a statement from insurer Zurich.

Zurich stated that Senn's family had informed the company that he took his own life on 27 May.

The insurer commented: "With the passing of Martin, we lose not only a highly valued former CEO and colleague but also a close friend. Our thoughts are with his bereaved family and friends, to whom we extend our deepest sympathies.
