Claim against Portsoken goes to speedy trial this year.

Arthur J Gallagher has said it is pleased with the court order which it stated ensures "valuable and confidential information" belonging to the firm is located and deleted from Portsoken's systems.

A statement from the broker said the interim injunction means Gallagher's business is protected from misuse of that information ahead of a full trial regarding its claims.

Mrs Justice Slade found in favour of the firm at the Royal Courts of Justice yesterday after a three-day hearing.
