Biba seeks to develop SME flooding solution
Association working on a solution for affordable flood insurance for businesses excluded from Flood Re.
The British Insurance Brokers' Association (Biba) has confirmed that it is working on a solution to provide affordable flood insurance for small and medium enterprises.
SMEs are excluded from the government supported Flood Re scheme which was set up to help householders in flood-prone areas get cheaper insurance.
Graeme Trudgill, executive director at Biba told Reuters: "We are looking to see if we can put a commercial proposition together."
