Towergate seeking to grow advisory sales force by 100

Recruitment drive would add 25% to current sales headcount.

Towergate Insurance Brokers has launched a recruitment drive targeting sales executives and sales leaders as it looks to grow its advisory sales force by 100 over the next two years.

The firm created a two division structure of retail and advisory earlier this year when Joe Thelwell was confirmed as advisory CEO overseeing 70 branches in its network.

In addition to announcing plans to recruit 50 people in 2016 and 50 more in 2017, increasing the headcount from 400 to 500, the broker stated it
