Broker boss cleared of death by careless driving

Broker Sean McClarron found not guilty of causing the death of a motorcyclist.

Sean McClarron was cleared by York Crown Court this week of causing the death of motorcyclist Stuart Green following a collision earlier this year.

York Press reported that the judge presiding over the case, Paul Batty QC, instructed the jury to return a verdict of not guilty for McClarron as he felt the available evidence would force the jury into speculation and guesswork.
