Alps doubles broker base in a year according to firm

Company says new policy lines have helped growth.

Alps says it has doubled its broker base in 12 months from 350 to 675 and is heavily involved in training to support brokers regarding the Financial Conduct Authority's (FCA) greater emphasis on the add-on market.

The firm said the growth had come as a result of new relationships with brokers, including Europa, Finch, First Insurance and Perkins Slade, and a significant uptake in new members due to its preferred supplier status with Broker Network.
