Brightside not hitting anticipated profit, says Cliff

New CEO Mark Cliff insists acquisitions still on the agenda despite M&A expert Wallin's exit.

Mark Cliff, CEO and chairman at Brightside, has exclusively told Insurance Age that business performance at Brightside was "not where everyone wanted it to be".

Remarking on Andrew Wallin's exit, he said: "It was not the place Wallin anticipated."

He added: "It was all very amicable. Brightside was not the place Andrew Wallin came to and we parted amicably."

However, he insisted that the management alterations did not signal a change in strategy for the broker.

Wallin was the second CEO to leave
