Insurance innovators “disadvantaged”

Insurers and brokers who take the lead on digital innovation are sometimes disadvantaged according to the FinTech Futures expert roundtable panel.

Dea Markova, membership manager at Innovate Finance pointed out: "It feels like there is a first mover disadvantage and it's counterintuitive to start-ups. In other sectors people want to move first but in insurance it's more tentative and they aren't really sure.
