Gallagher chief Ross named as Towergate boss

Move follows hot on the heels of last week’s takeover by unsecured creditors.

David Ross, chief executive officer of Arthur J Gallagher International, has been appointed as CEO of Sierra Investment Holdings, the company formed by the investors who won the race to buy troubled consolidator Towergate.

Sierra was created by Highbridge Principal Strategies (HPS) to invest in the broker and it confirmed that Ross will become CEO of Towergate after a "transition period".
