FCA chiefs to face MPs

Executives called to Parliament following Davis Report.

MPs are set to summon Financial Conduct Authority executives to Parliament following the findings of the Davis report.

Sister title Post reported that the Treasury Select Committee confirmed that it was keen to speak with Clive Adamson, director of supervision, and Zitah McMillan, director of communications to discuss the affair which led to millions being wiped off the share prices of major insurance companies.

As yet no date has been set for the meeting.

Brokers upbeat on 2024 growth – Aviva

Brokers are more optimistic about growth in the coming year than they have been since before 2020, according to Aviva, with 83% expecting their business to grow compared to 76% last year.
