Howden buys Liverpool-based Powell Bateson

Howden Broking Group, part of Hyperion Insurance Group, has bought Powell Bateson which is a commercial insurance broker and risk management consultancy.

Powell Bateson is based in Liverpool and described as having specific expertise in construction and property.
