Well what an amazing few weeks it has been. First Peter Blanc resigned from the CEO role for UK retail at Gallagher. His decision to leave the consolidator of consolidators came with his usual frankness. Quite simply he felt he wasn’t the right man for the role and the role wasn’t right for him. With Janice Deakin now in situ I’m sure the broker will be hoping for a period of stability, three CEOs in less than a year is not ideal.

And then came Mark Hodges’ abrupt departure from Towergate. This
