Biba to form code of conduct working group

Decision follows consultation of members.

The British Insurance Brokers' Association (Biba) is to establish a working group with the task of developing a voluntary code of conduct.

The broker trade body confirmed that it will develop a proposal on how to lead the way in interpreting the Financial Conduct Authority's (FCA) Principles for Businesses and the Chartered Insurance Institute's (CII) Code of Ethics, and lead the standards debate for the benefit of members.

The move followed Biba's consultation - A Pathway to Raised Standards -
