Gallagher swoops for Towergate underwriting duo
Broker recently saw ex-Towergate pair depart MGA division.
Arthur J Gallagher has appointed Andy Westby and Simon Lewer to its online-traded managing general agents (MGA) division.
Westby is to join as managing director and Lewer as underwriting director when their current contracts end at the end of 2014.
Both join from Towergate, where Westby is currently CEO of volume underwriting and Lewer is managing director of household.
They will report into Mark Armitage, managing director of MGA at Arthur J. Gallagher’s transactional underwriting division.
