Biba 2014: Biba launches voluntary sector guide

An insurance guide for the voluntary sector has been produced by the British Insurance Brokers’ Association and the Volunteer Liaison Group.

The new guide explains the risks that individuals and the sector may be vulnerable to and provides information on how to reduce these risks along with the insurance protection available.

Available on the Biba website, the guide covers three distinct areas: insurance comprises three areas: insurance required by law; insurance for individuals who volunteer or act as a trustee; and insurance for the charity and community sector.
