Nexus targets accident and health business

MGA confirms new team to support brokers in developing the line of business.

Nexus Group has formed a new team to develop accident, sickness and travel insurance.

The Nexus Accident and Health team will be headed up by underwriter, Jay Thacker, who joined the group specifically to develop this new class of business for the specialty MGA.

The business confirmed it would be writing business up to an event aggregate limit of £12.5m.
