Gallagher reacts to UK retail CEO McManus' resignation

McManus to "tackle unfulfilled aspirations elsewhere".

Arthur J Gallagher has confirmed the departure of UK retail CEO Brendan McManus.

Insurance Age today revealed that McManus would leave the consolidator in January 2015.

And Gallagher confirmed McManus would depart "once the once the major integration milestones incorporating the Giles business are reached".

The broker said that McManus shared his plans with his leadership team this week, which would see him work towards a planned handover.
